My next install, which is featuring both robots and humans interpreting the Penrose system of tessellation, constructed live over the course of the event. It's going to represent what the last year of my work has involved, and feature both stencil mosaics and v-plotter robotic drawing. I'm enjoying the prototyping immensely, the robot's work is, at least on first glance, more chaotic than the human's.
The Grain Warehouse is a Grade 2 listed building, and the exhibition space still has the ceiling covered by the old grain silos, used to load the narrowboats at the canal terminus on Victoria Quays. An amazing industrial location to exhibit in. This installation is part of Connect The Dots #1, and also features exhibitions from photographers Shaun Bloodworth , Elliot Holbrow and others.
